Perks of dating your long time best friend/soul mateHe already knows your history so there's nothing else you can tell him
You already love him as a person
He knows you well enough to be loving you for who you are
You know him well enough to be loving him for who he is
You kill 2 birds with 1 stone - you get to hang out with your boyfriend as well as your best bud at the same time
There are no issues of not being able to hang out with your guy friends; they happen to be his closest friends
You can be completely frank and honest with each other given the long history between the both of you
You loved each other as friends even before the attraction
There is no need to pretend to be coy, gentle, or feminine (at least for me) and you can be as rough as you used to be as he already knows how you are like as a person
