Had a fruitful Saturday:
*prayed
*ate my favourite curry rice (YUMS!)
*ate delicious ramen at Ippudo
*drank sakura flower tea for the first time (lovely!)
*went shopping (not so fruitful)
*beer with good friends
*ate very delicious mini pork sausages with cheeeeeeeeese
And most importantly... we selected and bought our wedding bands! :) I cannot take my mind off that beauty. Although we ended up mixing and matching, ours look perfect as a pair. Just like our couple rings which were actually halves of other pairs! Did not actually have my size for that particular design (ring size is way too small at 5) as I like crusted designs and they cannot be customized to my size (Smelly explained that it was something to do with the claws, it the ring curves beyond its maximum threshold, the claw opens up too much and cannot secure the diamonds) so I decided to opt for the smallest size available (6, just 1 size above my own) and attach a ring clip if its really a little loose instead, afterall I think my fingers will grow fatter after I get pregs and give birth right. Hahaha. I am so desperate. Did not want to settle for a simpler design (Ideally I can only opt for those very single designs with 1 diamond, no partial/half/full band diamonds). Anyway I am very very very happy with my selection and its motivating me to get married so I can wear them SOON. HAHAHAHA.
Smelly's wedding band is also perfect! Simple, yet masculine and chic! Very shiny (girls a mile away will be able to spot that he's married :D ) and the best thing is, it's easy to maintain. Dont really fancy matt designs as it gets worn off easily. Our couple ring was matt. And now I've worn it to a point that it's shiny. Hur hur.
I love our wedding bands! Can wait to see them in 3 months! But I love my Smelly more! :*
Another major task done. Next will be bridal shopping as well as the photog hunting :)

Happy 4th anniversary Smelly!
Crossed another milestone yesterday!
Been 4 years since we started on this journey and I am amazed at how happy we still are.
Had a simple celebration to mark our 4th on Tuesday. Just paktoring and going places to eat the things we(I) like to eat. Went to shortlist our wedding rings as well. Nothing fanciful but it felt really good not to be rushed for time and spending quality time with each other.
Hong Kong was a pretty good break for the both of us as well. The shopping was splendid, the food was not too bad, the hotel was awesome, the weather was perfect (I love the cold!!) and Disneyland was pure magic! The crappy part was that I busted my kneecap on day 3 and had to drag my old limb all over Hong Kong, braving the endless walking, endless flights of stairs, shopping, disneyland. I bet I could have ate more, bought more, shopped more if not for that lousy cap'o mine :(
I LOVE Citygate man. Sigh. I wanna go there again.....................
FSM course started 2 weeks ago immediately after we came back. So my days are practicalled filled with night classes (thrice a week on mon wed fri zzz), work and more work. Sigh.
This weekend gonna be busy.
Gonna run some errands to purchase something for work.
Visit a staff in TTSH :(
Decide on our wedding rings :)
Get tortured by Smelly (is my liang jing jing there, or not?!)

2010...
Today marks the 3rd day of 2011. No new year's resolutions made (never kept them anyway).
Looking back, 2010 has been rather kind to me.
Career-wise, it was a very tough year but as they say, you reap what you sow, and I did have a reasonably good yield. It made me believe that shit happens for a reason. No point complaining about it. When you gotta do it, you just gotta do it. Even if it's all new to you, you just got to rough it out. No one will let you have it easy just because you have never done it before. If you succeed, rewards will wait for you at the end of it. If you don't even try, then there isn't any means to an end anyway.
Health wise, went through another mini nightmare, survived it thanks to God and cleared my first review after my op. So far so good. I still think we only have 1 life, 1 chance. Either you live it or you waste it. So what if you work your ass off but have little to live for. So what if you earn millions but have no loved ones to share it with. So what if you rub shoulders with the rich and famous but but come home to empty walls. Life is and will always be to me, about family, love, friends and of course occasionally affording the nicer food in life, prettier clothes in life and sharing the spoils and a bit more travelling won't hurt la :p
Travel wise, experienced the russian winter up to minus 26 degrees celsius. Proclaimed for the first time is minus 13 degrees is a good day to be out. Had my eyelashes stuck to each other. Had the hardest time ordering corn from KFC, served by university students but still think "Corn" = Coke? Roamed the russian streets on our own (Omg so damn exciting) Saw and played with snow for the first time. Built a snowman for the first time (it's really not as easy as it looks with fresh powdered snow). Confirmed that she's built for Winter. Went to TW and had a fantastic time with the guys. Ate zhu xue gao. Spat zhu xue gao. Remembered Taipei for it's delicious guo jia guo and the cheap basement shopping.
Relationship wise, somehow Smelly feels that we should get married earlier than projected. And no. No proposal in 2010 :( Things started to look really real (visited hotels, or rather a hotel) and then slacked off again. Haha. No progress liao. But I am still happy. I hope he is still happy. We still very much think we are meant for each other. So I suppose, good news in this department still? Bought a few more kids this year and expanded our softtoy family rather rapidly. Hampi is still our number 1 furkid. We still love Hampi very very much. Hampi gave us a heart attack but we are very grateful that he is still chomping down sunflower seeds and his little hamster crossiant as per normal.
Family wise, bro got married, Dawn is assimilating well to the family, Bro finally booked his nest, niece number 2 on the way. Parents are still healthy and happy, and I pray that they will continue to be healthier and happier. Parents can't wait for me to be married off -_- and expects 2 grand kids -_-
For 2011. No resolutions but I do hope to pass my FSM, get a bigger paycheck, fat bonuses. For Smelly to get huge increments, huge commissions, huge bonuses, and give a portion of it to me, hee hee. I hope that I will still be Smelly's number 1, and we will be happier than ever. I hope to also realise our plans to visit Japan and Perth before all our finances become a joint entity. For a start, I hope we will have a wonderful time in HK, and I will buy the most (good) things with the least money. Hahahaha.
Ok time to research. 1 more week to Hong Kong. OH YEAH! <3
