2 days!
Received fricking amazing news from my NM today. The CPIP project that my she and I completed a few months back was nominated to enter the 2012 International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare conference, organised by British Med Journal! It will be held in Paris next April! Oh my jolly God! Was totally unexpected cause the both of us were praying for a pass. And ended up our projects was one of the better ones. Wah sey, damn high. Suppose to submit an abstract before next week if we are keen. Need to present the poster, or give a presentation (if your abstract is damn solid).
But doubt we will go for it la. Although its quite tempting to get a free trip to Paris for this, I am pretty sure it will come with a bond... already going to be bonded for my UAE practicum trip so I doubt I will take this up again.
Nonetheless, very happy that we did well enough afterall! :) What an honor!
Anyway,
List of things that needs to be done when we are back...
1. Build our song list for the reception
2. Look for the wedding singer
3. Select the photos
4. Look for a solemnizer
5. Do up the guest list (sigh)
6. Start with the gown selection
7. Find out the process for guo da li, guo men etc
8. Decide when should the honeymoon be.. after JCI...?
9. The list goes on and on and on..
Yawns. Time for bed.

It's monday and I am sick at home :(
In about 3 weeks, I will be going for my surgery and I am not to hyped about that.
Started seeing the TCM today as well. Hopefully it will help me to improve my overall health and stop things from growing in my body. Gonna be a long and expensive process.
On a happier note, we will be in BKK in approximately 5 more days! Really excited about our short trip! Guess we both needed a break, and (I need) a crazy shopping spree!
Also, had a trip date with Yan and Huiling and their partners on Friday. Had an enjoyable time and went to take a look at her new home! Love it and made me really excited about our new place!
Was reading the forums earlier on and the Regalians (Dec '08 project) are in the midst of collecting their keys! This effectively means, our probable date would be in 6-8 months, since ours is a Jul '09 project! Leon's bro (Arcadia, Nov '08) has also received the notification to collect their keys as well! How exciting!
With Oct nearing also, this also means our wedding is in 4.5 more months! 6 to 8 months to collecting our keys, and finally, 9 to 11 months to completing our renovation. So somewhere in August next year, we will have our own crib! Weee! I'm so exciting! Plenty of money gonna be spent in this journey and so BKK is going to be my last shopping spree (I hope).
Can't wait to have our own home!
Ok, time to rest and dream about our new place.

Sigh..
Been a rather emotional weekend. Going for surgery again and it seem to clash with my work schedule. Really dunno how to bring it up to my boss..... the team is still very young. :( Stressful weekend..
On a good note. I really appreciate having Leon around me. Somehow, he gives me immense strength and tells me everything is going to be fine. Grateful to have him in my life. Good to know that there is still plenty of love and affection after 4 and a half years of being in a relationship.
I just hope everything works out well....
I need to feel happy soon.

No matter how often you have been through this, hearing it again for the first time still sucks.
More than ever, there are many reasons as to why I should live and why I need to stay healthy and happy.
I want a long lasting marriage.
I want to have kids, watch my kids grow up and have kids of their own.
I want to be third time lucky.
I hope this is just a misunderstanding.
